How It All Began...

In 1990, owners Bob and Maria decided to fulfill the American Dream by opening their own restaurant. When they began, Main Street was a residential area with a few businesses, some of which still exist today. Bob and Maria had a vision, and that was to create great food that was delicious and easy on the wallet to the neighborhood as well as to visitors. As Manayunk started becoming more and more popular, business grew and today Riverside Pizza is known as the "Family Pizza Shop" in Manayunk. People come out to Manayunk just to try their famous greek salads with chunks of feta that will make you salivate. Aside from the addictive pizza, the gyros are what people keep raving about.
